Breath Mastery for High Performance Cycling provides you with the science and practical steps for transitioning to nose-breathing for higher performance in your cycling.
If you are looking for an edge in cycling and have not yet transitioned to nose-breathing then the Breath Mastery for High Performance Cycling course is a great addition to your tool kit. You will learn how breathing can impact your performance, and some techniques for positively influence this. Understanding the relationship between your breathing style and fitness and even mental state will motivate you to put into action what you are learning. Each week you will have various exercises to trial, and report back on the following week. Throughout the course you will have access to various resources; and each session will involve some practical elements. On completion, you will be sent a certificate of attendance. Additionally, whenever possible, we will offer you discounts with our partners for related products, services and courses.

5 sessions of 1 to1.5 hours over 5 weeks.
Some lessons are slightly longer, and though most are close to an hour, the extra time allows for questions.

We recognise that life can get in the way sometimes, so you have 10 weeks to complete the course, after which time your access will end.

How is it delivered?
There are four elements to the course:
Throughout the course, we use brain-based learning techniques (you can learn more about these in our Brain Based Learning Course).
The course is delivered by Gemma Herbertson. Gemma is a keen competitve cyclist, and professionally she has over twelve years of working with neuroplasticity therapies, and she is the inventor of the Exchange Breathing Method. She has various qualifications and training including from the Institute of Neuro Physiological Psychology, the Carrick Institute (for functional neurology); plus she has studied Biomedicine with CNM, and Functional Neuro-Anatomy with Cambridge University.
