- Overwhelmed by breathwork techniques?
- Uncertain of the relationship between brain and breathing?
- Unsure which breathing techniques could help you in your practice?
Let us support your neuro-journey so you can be your best!
With the Breath Brain Behaviour course you will gain:
- Clarity on how breathing influences the nervous system
- Knowledge of how to observe breathing styles and patterns
- Confidence in using observations to select breathing techniques for tailored solutions
From our first breath to our last, breathing is fundamental to life. Understanding the brain-breath-behaviour relationship: what to observe and how to influence it can create some great gains for yourself and those you work with. Breathing is not only crucial for brain health, but it also influences the functioning of the brain and our behaviour.
If you are looking to understand how breathing anatomy and physiology, brain health and function, and behaviours and symptoms are all inter-related, then the Brain Breath Behaviour course is for you!
You will learn about useful evaluations and therapeutic interventions, and the various neurological conditions which can benefit from these. Throughout the course you will have access to various resources; and each session will involve some practical elements and opportunities for Q&As. On completion, we will proudly send you a certificate of attendance.
Additionally, whenever possible, we offer discounts with our relevant partners for their products and services.

Further studies:
The BBB course is also a great springboard to several other courses from our partners, and, of course, other Neuro Frontiers courses.
Additionally, although it can be taken as a standalone course, the Brain Breath Behaviour course also forms part 1 of Neuro-Nasology, which umbrella’s all things nervous system and nose related.
The second half of Neuro-Nasology is the Neuro-Aroma Therapy course, which covers the olfactory sense and system, and the therapeutic use of scent for various neurological conditions and general state of mind, mood, etc.

How is it delivered?
There are four elements to the course:
Throughout the course, we use brain-based learning techniques (you can learn more about these in our Brain Based Learning Course).
The course is delivered by Gemma Herbertson. Gemma has over twelve years of working with neuroplasticity therapies, and she is the inventor of the Exchange Breathing Method. She has various qualifications and training including from the Institute of Neuro Physiological Psychology, the Carrick Institute (for functional neurology); plus she has studied Biomedicine with CNM, and Functional Neuro-Anatomy with Cambridge University.
